The Castro Valley Women’s Club was founded in 1948 by Barbara Russell and Helen Fowler with the purpose of investing in our community while growing friendships.
The club is currently undergoing a transformation to meet the needs of women today. More connectedness, more community, more meaningful conversations, more diversity and inclusion.
Our membership has tripled to 90+ members since November 2025, as we've launched new programming, including the Intergenerational Women's Circle at our first-Saturday monthly meetings, and Women's Circles for women of shared identity or life phase to gather and support one another.
