The Castro Valley Women's Club is offering beginner's bridge lessons to our club members every Tuesday beginning March 24 from 6:30 to 8:30 at our clubhouse. Bridge is a partnership card game played with 4 people. Our classes taught by Linda Cliff, Kathy Stull and Linda Perotti will teach basic bridge concepts including bridge jargon, evaluation of hand, bidding and play of the hand. After an introductory group discussion we will break up into 3 groups with 4 students and 1 mentor at each table. Given this structure we are limiting our class size to 12 women. We will open the classes to the first 12 women who respond to this event. If interest exceeds that number we will create a waiting list for an additional session later in the year.
