Join us for a relaxed evening of creativity and connection! We'll start with a brief intro to collage, then spend most of our time creating, chatting, and enjoying each other's company. No art experience needed, no rules, no pressure—just scissors, glue, and good conversation. Bring your own supplies (scissors, glue, magazines) or use what's available. Work in a journal, create something abstract, or just play with images and colors. RSVP by February 23 so we can plan tables and supplies. This is collaboration at its best—two communities coming together for an easygoing night of art and friendship.
Collaboration with Collage Club
We’ll begin with a brief introduction to the art of collage and then most of the time will be open for collaging, chatting, and creating at your own pace. There’s no pressure to create something finished or meaningful and there are no rules on how to do collage.
How to Prepare
Come however feels right to you:
Some people like to collage in an art journal around certain themes or feelings
Others prefer to show up and work intuitively on a standalone page with whatever images or colors catch their eye
Some collages are abstract, others are absurd and nonsensical — there are no rules and you will likely find yourself decompressing a bit as you let yourself create whatever comes naturally
All approaches are welcome — there’s no homework and no preparation required.
What to Bring
Scissors, markers, glue sticks or any art supplies you enjoy
Magazines, images, photos, or paper to use or share
A snack or beverage to share
Collage Club will have some supplies available to use but you are encouraged to bring your own stash. Get creative — look for interesting shapes, colors, images in your junk mail, old books, catalogues, etc.

CV Collage Club is a light-hearted, social group that brings women together to connect over collage and creativity. Our gatherings are casual, welcoming, and low-pressure — no art experience required, no expectations to share, and no “right” way to create. Some people come to make art, some to socialize, and many do a bit of both.
This event is designed to reflect that same spirit.
