Let's hike to the campgrounds overlooking Lake Chabot. We will enter the park at Grovenor Drive, take Cameron Loop Trail to the wooden bridge then take Honker Trail to the campgrounds. This is a strenuous hike with some steep portions and possibly muddy parts. Total distance: about 3 miles. Bring hiking poles and trail shoes. Meeting Location: Castro Valley Women's Club (Because Grovenor Drive entrance is a residential area, let's be respectful of the residents and meet at the clubhouse and carpool to the park entrance.)
