Join us for an almost-spring hike through Las Trampas Regional Wilderness, one of the hikes from the East Bay Parks 2026 Trail Challenge! We'll enjoy beautiful views, wildflowers, and possibly spot Newts, Woodpeckers and Red Tail Hawks—maybe even a Golden Eagle. MEET AT THE CLUBHOUSE to assemble carpools between 8:30 - 8:45 AM. We will depart at 8:45 AM. Directions to the staging area are included below for drivers. We will start the hike on Bollinger Creek Loop Trail, turn onto the Las Trampas Ridge Trail and return to the parking lot via Chamise Trail. It is a 2.9 mile loop with 718 feet of elevation gain. The trails can be rugged, steep, may be muddy so bring study footwear, water, sun protection and hiking poles (if you find them helpful).
