Let's get carpools together at the club at 9:00 AM and head to the meeting. RSVP so we know you're coming. We are sharing this request for critical and timely support for Mosaic project. After a decade of planning and $1M in investment, Mosaic Project's permit for a permanent home in Castro Valley is heading to the Alameda County Board of Supervisors. This is quite literally a request for Mosaic’s long-term survival; if they are not approved, Mosaic will likely not survive another 10 years. Mosaic Project's biggest program is an outdoor school for a diverse group of 4th and 5th graders. A donor purchased land on Cull Canyon Road and gave it to Mosaic to use for their outdoor school program. They have received pushback from neighbors and the MAC board. On March 5, the organization will participate in its final hearing in front of the Alameda County Board of Supervisors to determine whether or not this program can develop in that location.
