Please join CVWC for a special afternoon matinee of Our Town at Castro Valley’s own Chanticleers Theatre. This performance, reserved for CVWC members, family and friends, is a benefit for Chanticleers, and a wonderful opportunity to celebrate an extraordinary connection that began 75 years ago, when members of the Castro Valley Women’s Club founded the theatre. And our connection to this production is especially personal: one of our own CVWC members, Allison Ching, is appearing in Our Town! Chanticleers has also been a wonderful community partner to CVWC. Earlier this year, the theatre opened its doors to us for a special performance benefiting our club. Now, as Chanticleers celebrates its 75th anniversary, it’s our turn to show up for them. Your ticket includes the afternoon performance of Our Town at 2 PM, followed by a nostalgic Ice Cream Social hosted by CVWC in the Community Park.
