I just posted the details of the September hikes on our website. In Wednesday, September 9, we will walk the Stream Trail and Saturday September 19, we will hike the Palos
Shady Stream Trail Stroll
Please join us as we stroll ~ 3 miles along the pleasant Stream Trail in the shady redwoods in Reinhart Redwood Regional Park.
Optional: Bring a snack to share at a picnic table on the trail.
Date: Wednesday, September 9th.
Meeting Times and Locations:
- 9:30 at Clubhouse for carpool.
- 10:00 at the Trailhead
Meeting Location: Canyon Meadows Staging area in Reinhart Redwood Regional Park. https://maps.app.goo.gl/ZUGrjmnX12j7yuSR7
Driving directions: Take Redwood Road into Anthony Chabot Regional Park. After about 17 minutes you will see a sign for Reinhart Redwood Regional Park. Make a sharp right to enter the park. Drive about 1/4 of a mile to the last parking lot. This is Canyon Meadows Staging area.
Total Walking Distance: about 3 miles
Total Hiking Time: 1.5 hrs
Terrain: First 0.5 miles is paved and flat. The rest of the trail is mostly hard-packed dirt and flat.
